Zinedine Zidane announced his return to the big football stage.
The legendary Frenchman said in an interview with RMC Sport that he will return to coaching activities very soon. When asked if he misses work, Zizu answered: “I will be back soon, very soon. I am not far from joining any team. Let’s try, let’s try a little.”
This means that the 50-year-old specialist is ready to return. It is not yet known if Zizu wants to interest any team or national team with this statement, or if he already has specific offers.
Finally, Zidane was linked to Paris Saint-Germain, where he was considered as a replacement for Mauricio Pochettino. It was also written in the media that the managers of Manchester United also wanted to appoint Zidane (as a replacement for Solskjaer). However, both PSG and United were appointed other coaches.
Now it is most often written that Zidane will take over the French national team after the World Cup. As you know, Didier Deschamps is still coaching the reigning world champions. At the same time, Juventus fans in Turin are hoping that the Frenchman will replace Massimiliano Allegri.
We remind you that Zidane left the post of head coach of Real Madrid in May 2021 and has been resting ever since.
