Scalloni: "We won a difficult match, but we don't have time to relax"

Lionel Scaloni, the head coach of the Argentine national team, made a comment after the 2:0 victory over Poland in the final round of the group stage of the 2022 World Cup.

“It was a very difficult match, but we worked properly. The players played a very good, complete match. Sometimes things don’t work out, but never stopping trying pays off in the end.

We are satisfied with the match we played. Ollie wasn’t really a game. We had to play and win against a team that had two satisfactory results.

We have no time to rest and relax. We are the first in the group and we have to play in a very short time”, said the 44-year-old specialist.

The Argentine team will face the Australian team in the 1/8 finals of the current World Cup in Qatar. The meeting will be held on December 3 and will start at 23:00 Tbilisi time.
