Ronaldo named the favorite for the 2022 Ballon d'Or
The legendary striker of the Brazilian national team, and currently the owner of Cruzeiro and Valladolid, Ronaldo, named the favorite for the Golden Ball of the 2021/22 season.
“I don’t think anyone can seriously compete with Benzema. He has impressive numbers and most importantly, he has been unmatched in the Champions League. Could other players win? of course. But last season, the difference between Benzema and them was very big,” NotiMerica quoted the Brazilian star as saying.
The 2022 Ballon d’Or award ceremony will take place on October 17 in Paris.
