La Liga punished Lewandowski with a 3-match suspension

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski will miss three La Liga matches.

Such a decision was made by the disciplinary committee due to the red card received by the Pole in the 14th round of La Liga, in the match against Osasuna. After being sent off, Lewandowski insulted the referee.

As a result, the striker will not be able to play in the matches against Espanyol (December 31), Atletico (January 8) and Betis (January 14).

In the current season, Lewandowski has scored 18 goals and 4 assists in 19 matches played in the Barcelona shirt. After 14 rounds of La Liga, the Catalan team is in the first position of the tournament table with 37 points.
