L'Equipe - Zidane is one of the candidates for coaching the Brazilian national team

The French specialist, Zinedine Zidane, is one of the contenders for the head coach of the Brazilian national team. L’Equipe reports the information.

According to the publication, the Brazilian Football Federation is focusing on an experienced foreign coach who is currently unemployed. Mauricio Pochettino, Rafael Benitez and Tomas Tuchel are among the candidates.

Carlo Ancelotti was also linked with the Seleção, but the Italian does not want to leave Real Madrid before the contract expires.

Zinedine Zidane’s last team was “Real”, which he left in May last year. The 50-year-old specialist was able to win the Champions League three times with the “Royal Club”.

After being eliminated from the quarter-finals of the World Cup, Tite left the Brazilian national team. The post of the head coach of the five-time world champions is still vacant.
