Gary Neville: "I don't think Alexander-Arnold will be in Qatar's World Cup squad"

The former guard of the English national team, Gary Neville, thinks that the back line of Liverpool, Trent Alexander-Arnold, may not be included in the English team’s World Cup application.

“How are England going to win or lose the World Cup?” If we get to the play-offs, I can’t imagine how Southgate can play Trent.

I honestly want Alexander-Arnold to be the best right-back of all time, but I don’t think Southgate can trust him in the last few games. Therefore, this fact will affect the call-up of the Liverpool player.

The 24-year-old Trent last played in the “Three Lions” on June 4, 2022 in the League of Nations match against Hungary (0:1).
