After the US men's team makes the playoffs, the women's team will receive $6.5 million

The USA football team has successfully overcome the group stage of the World Cup. They succeeded and will go to the 1/8 finals with the second place, where they will face the team of the Netherlands.

As a result of this success, the USA will receive at least 13 million dollars from FIFA. As you pass each next stage, the cash prize will increase more and more.

Although the men’s team achieves these results, the women’s team also suffers financially.

That’s because the men’s and women’s teams signed an agreement in May that meant they would pool money earned from the World Cup and split it equally. The agreement was made so that both teams would be paid equally for their respective achievements.
